WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools ("MNPS") and Hispanic Family Foundation ("Contractor) located at 3955 Nolensville Pike, Suite 107, Nashville, TN, 37211, desire to enter into a contract for use of facility space for the purpose of locating an EL Enrollment Site at the Family Foundation; and,
WHEREAS, Contractor wishes to lease the Premises noted in the contract to Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The contract between the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and Hispanic Family Foundation, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, is hereby approved and the Directors of Schools and the Department of Public Property are authorized to execute the contract on behalf of the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
Section 2. Any amendment, change, or extension to the lease shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council receiving twenty-one affirmative votes.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance would allow Metro Nashville Public Schools ("MNPS") to lease office space from the Hispanic Family Foundation to establish an English Learners Enrollment Center at 3927 Nolensville Pike. The Enrollment Center would be operated five days a week and open to the public by appointment.

The lease term would begin on July 15, 2023, and conclude on July 14, 2028. MNPS would pay $1,000 in monthly rent to the Hispanic Family Foundation. Any amendment, change or extension of this lease must be approved by a resolution of the Metropolitan Council receiving 21 affirmative votes. ...
