WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, previously entered into a contract with the Tennessee Department of Health for Arbovirus Testing of mosquito samples for West Nile Virus approved by RS2020-422; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract to extend the end date of the contract to February 22, 2022 and delete Section C. Payment Terms and Conditions in its entirety and replace it with a new Section C. Payment Terms and Conditions, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the contract by and between the Tennessee Department of Health and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for Arbovirus Testing of mosquito samples for West Nile Virus, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
