A resolution accepting a donation from Rock Nashville Properties, LLC in the amount of $75,000 as a contribution towards infrastructure improvements at the Whites Creek Pike and Briley Parkway interchange.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws § 5.04.120, the Metropolitan Council can approve donations, exclusive of donations of real estate by resolution; and,
WHEREAS, Rock Nashville Properties, LLC owns and plans to develop a parcel of property (the “Property”) at 3200 Whites Creek Pike in Nashville; and,
WHEREAS, traffic signal improvements (the “Improvements”) in the vicinity of the Property will eventually be necessary as the Property and nearby properties develop; and,
WHEREAS, as provided in the letter attached as Exhibit 1, Rock Nashville Properties, LLC proposes to donate $75,000 to the Metropolitan Government as a contribution towards infrastructure improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The proposed donation by Rock Nashville Properties, LLC of $75,000 as a contribution towards the cost of the Improvements, as proposed in Exhibit 1, is approved.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The Council is authorized to approve donations by resolution pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws section 5.04.120.B.
