A resolution approving a Strengthening Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce, and Data Systems grant application and accepting a Strengthening Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce, and Data Systems grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to implement workforce strategies to build organizational resilience, promote employee well-being, and enhance workforce performance while focusing on building healthier communities.

WHEREAS, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention accepted an application for a Strengthening Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce, and Data Systems grant from the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to implement workforce strategies to build organizational resilience, promote employee well-being, and enhance workforce performance while focusing on building healthier communities; and,
WHEREAS, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has awarded a grant, in an amount not to exceed $843,396.00 with no cash match required, to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to implement workforce strategies to build organizational resilience, promote employee well-being, and enhance workforce performance while focusing on building healthier communities; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant application be approved and this grant award be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
