WHEREAS, Music City, Inc. wishes to donate to the Nashville Fire Department a 2023 Polaris ATV equipped with a medical bed to transport injured individuals, valued at $32,800; and,
WHEREAS, a copy of the donation documentation is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws ? 5.04.120(B), donations to departments exceeding $7,500.00 in value may be accepted upon approval of the Metropolitan Council by resolution; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the donation by Music City, Inc. to the Nashville Fire Department of a 2023 Polaris ATV equipped with a medical bed to transport injured individuals, valued at $32,800, pursuant to the donation documentation attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Nashville Fire Department is hereby authorized to accept this donation for its use and benefit.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
