WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of Family Safety, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration to fund staffing positions to help manage the multi-disciplinary needs of its clients approved by RS2023-2204 and RS2024-305; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to decrease the amount of the grant by $154,750 from $696,375 to $541,625 and change the end date to February 28, 2025, and revises various sections of the grant agreement, a copy of which amendment two is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment two be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment two the grant by and between the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of Family Safety, to fund staffing positions to help manage the multi-disciplinary needs of its clients, a copy of which amendment two is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
