An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water main, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manhole, vertical relocation of an existing public sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for two properties located at 2526 and 2528 8th Avenue South, also known as The Eighth, (MWS Project Nos. 23-WL-21 and 23-SL-43 and Proposal No. 2023M-144ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 13 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole, the vertical relocation of one existing sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for two properties located at 2526 and 2528 8th Avenue South, also known as The Eighth, is needed to construct project numbers 23-WL-21 and 23-SL-43; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-144ES-001 on August 30, 2023, for the acceptance of said water main, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 13 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole, the vertical relocation of one existing sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for two properties located at 2526 and 2528 8th Avenue South, also known as The Eighth, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
