WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Trevecca Nazarene University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical and non-clinical experience opportunities for students enrolled in the nursing program of Trevecca Nazarene University; and,
WHEREAS, Trevecca Nazarene University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into a contract, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to provide clinical and non-clinical experience opportunities for students enrolled in the nursing program of Trevecca Nazarene University; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the agreement between Trevecca Nazarene University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical and non-clinical experience opportunities for students enrolled in nursing program of Trevecca Nazarene University, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
