A resolution approving amendments to six grant contracts for constructing affordable housing approved by RS2022-1857 between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission, and certain non-profit organizations.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County ("Metro"), acting by and through the Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission, previously entered into grant contracts with New Level Community Development Corporation, Park Center, Inc., Urban Housing Solutions, Inc., and William F. Buchanan Community Development Corporation, and two contracts with Be a Helping Hand Foundation for the express purpose of constructing affordable housing approved by RS2022-1857; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend these six grant contracts by extending the term of each contract, copies of which amendments are attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, Metro, acting by and through the Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission and Urban Housing Solution, Inc. wish to amend Attachment A, recipient's grant budget, to the contract, a copy of which amendment is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the amendments to the grant contracts be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the six grant contracts for constructing affordable housing between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission, and Be a Helping Hand Foundation, New Level Community Development Corporation, Park Center, Inc., Urban Housing Solutions, Inc., and William F.
