WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Arts Commission, previously entered into a grant agreement with Americans for the Arts to implement a Diversity in Arts Leadership Internship Program (DIAL) to provide technical assistance to help establish a summer internship program approved by RS2021-1241; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to add an additional cash match requirement of $13,792.00 to the previous amount of $24,000.00 for a new total of $37,762.00, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one to this in-kind grant be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the in-kind grant by and between Americans for the Arts and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Arts Commission, to provide technical assistance to help establish a summer internship program, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
