WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Information Technology Services Department, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to fund the position of Digital Inclusion Officer to manage the allocation of resources to ensure equitable service delivery and expand economic opportunities in meeting the needs of the underserved approved by RS2023-2052; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to increase the amount of the grant by $25,000.00 from $65,000.00 to $90,000.00, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the grant by and between the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Information Technology Services Department, to fund the position of Digital Inclusion Officer to manage the allocation of resources to ensure equitable service delivery and expand economic opportunities in meeting the needs of the underserved, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
