WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County ("Metro"), previously entered into Contract Number 393660 with Adkisson & Associates Architects, Inc. for the provision of design services for the Nashville Fairgrounds; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the term listed in Section 3.1 of Contract Number 393660 to end at project completion, a copy of which amendment is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this Fourth Amendment to the contract be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the Fourth Amendment to Contract Number 393660 between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Adkisson & Associates Architects, Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance approves the fourth amendment to an agreement between the Metropolitan Government and Adkisson & Associates Architects, Inc. Metro contracts with Adkisson & Associates Architects, Inc. for the provision of design services for the Nashville Fairgrounds. The contract began in November 2016 and was originally for a term of no more than 60 months. This amendment removes the 60 month limitation and instead states that the contract term will end at project completion. No other changes would be made to the contract.
