Agenda Analysis

Analysis

This resolution approves a provider participation agreement between the Metropolitan Board of Health and Renaissance Life and Health Insurance Company of America in order to receive payment for services provided to individuals enrolled in a TennCare Dental Benefits Management (“TBM”) Program.

The Metropolitan Public Health Department provides dental services, and the Renaissance Life and Health Insurance administers the dental plan for individuals enrolled in a TBM Program. This provider participation agreement will give dentists working for the Metropolitan Public Health Department to be listed in the provider directory and to accept TennCare insurance for services covered by a TBM program.
