Agenda Analysis
Analysis
This resolution approves the first amendment to a grant contract between the Nashville Public Library and Aspiring Youth Enrichment Services for the provision of free and high-quality out-of-school programs through the Nashville After Zone Alliance.
Pursuant to Resolution No. RS2026-2046, Aspiring Youth Enrichment Services was granted $497,300 to provide afterschool services to 100 youth between 5th and 8th grade and 130 students over the summer. The grant term began on July 1, 2026, and ends on June 30, 2027.
The proposed amendment decreases the grant value by $67,750 from $497,300 to $429,550. The decreased value corresponds to 50 fewer slots for afterschool services. The grant term remains unchanged.
