Agenda Analysis
Analysis
This resolution approves the first amendment to a grant contract from the Tennessee Housing Development Agency to the Metropolitan Action Commission (“MAC”). The grant, as approved by Resolution No. RS2024-398, provides Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program services for the elderly, disabled, veterans, and households with young children.
The proposed grant contract amendment would extend the grant term to September 30, 2026. However, all goods and services must be obligated by MAC by September 30, 2025, pursuant to a federal award. Other parts of the contract regarding the grant were updated to reflect the obligation deadline.
