An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer mains, new public sanitary sewer manholes, easements, and the adjustment of existing public sanitary sewer manhole, for five properties located on Lawndale Drive, also known as Lawndale Sewer Extension, (MWS Project No. 24-SL-51 and Proposal No. 2024M-088ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 93 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 192 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer mains (PVC), two new sanitary sewer manholes, easements and the adjustment of one existing sanitary sewer manhole, for five properties located on Lawndale Drive, also known as Lawndale Sewer Extension, is needed to construct project number 24-SL-51; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-088ES-001 on July 12, 2024, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 93 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 192 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer mains (PVC), two new sanitary sewer manholes, easements and the adjustment of one existing sanitary sewer manhole, for five properties located on Lawndale Drive, also known as Lawndale Sewer Extension, as shown on Exhibits 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance has been approved by the Planning Commission. Future amendments to this ordinance shall be approved by resolution.
Fiscal Note: This ordinance has no cost to Metro. Abandoned and donated easements have no market value according to the Department of Water Services.
