An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 6434 Pettus Road and 7224 Old Burkitt Road, also known as Southpoint Ph 3A and Village UMC (MWS Project Nos. 20-WL-55 and 20-SL-193 and Proposal No. 2020M-094ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 362 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 329 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two fire hydrant assemblies, three sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 6434 Pettus Road and 7224 Old Burkitt Road, also known as Southpoint Ph 3A and Village UMC, is needed to construct project numbers 20-WL-55 and 20-SL-193; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M-094ES-001 on November 6, 2020, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 362 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 329 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two fire hydrant assemblies, three sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 6434 Pettus Road and 7224 Old Burkitt Road, also known as Southpoint Ph 3A and Village UMC, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
