50. Election to boards and commissions
2. Those persons nominated shall be referred to the Rules Committee for recommendation. The Committee shall meet and determine the relative qualifications of the various candidates and report to the Council its recommendation at the next regularly scheduled Council meeting at least two weeks following the Rules Committee meeting wherein the candidates were considered nominated. No action may be taken upon such nominee until and unless such completed questionnaires have been sent to the Clerk by noon and Council members by 4:00 p.m. five days preceding a nominee appearance before the Rules Committee. any vote to fill the vacancy. Any nominee who does not submit their questionnaire in time to meet this deadline shall be deemed to have withdrawn their name for nomination.
