A resolution approving amendments to the grant contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Office of Family Safety, and the Mary Parrish Center.

WHEREAS, pursuant to RS2022-1423, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County previously entered into a grant agreement with The Mary Parrish Center to provide therapeutic services to victims of interpersonal violence; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement by correcting the amount of American Recovery Plan Act ("ARP") funds listed to be appropriated to The Mary Parrish Center to $170,000; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend The Mary Parrish Center grant agreement to extend the end date from December 31, 2023 to September 30, 2024; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that these amendments be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That RS2022-1423 is hereby amended by restating the value of The Mary Parrish Center grant contract to $170,000.
Section 2. That RS2022-1423 is hereby amended by restating the term of The Mary Parrish Center grant contract to the end date of September 30, 2024.
Section 3. The Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to enter into the amended grant contract with the Mary Parrish Center, attached hereto and incorporated herein. The amended grant contract shall specify the terms and conditions under which the grant funds are to be spent, including that all expenditures shall be in accordance with the financial requirements of the federal American Recovery Plan Act.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
