An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes, and easements, and to accept new sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on 41st Avenue North, Clifton Avenue, and Indiana Avenue (MWS Project No. 21-SL-294 and Proposal No. 2023M-022ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 430 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 690 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 102 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), 11 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on 41st Avenue North, Clifton Avenue, and Indiana Avenue, are needed to construct project number 21-SL-294; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-022ES-001 on February 16, 2023, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 430 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept approximately 690 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 102 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), 11 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on 41st Avenue North, Clifton Avenue, and Indiana Avenue, as shown on Exhibits 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
