A resolution approving a contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and My Goat, Inc., to provide equipment, services and software for robotic mowers for the Department of Parks and Recreation.

WHEREAS, Section 5.04.020 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws provides that all leases of equipment shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council if the annual expenditure for the lease exceeds five thousand ($5,000); and,
WHEREAS, the annual expenditure to rent robotic mowers and software for use by the Department of Parks and Recreation, pursuant to the attached contract with My Goat, Inc., will exceed five thousand ($5,000); and,
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that is contract be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1: That the contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and My Goat, Inc. attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The contract under consideration has an estimated contract value of $2,000,000. The term of the contract begins upon approval of all required parties and filing in the Metropolitan Clerk's Office and extends for a total of 60 months.
