A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manholes, for two properties located at 1820 B Hermosa Street and 1809 Morena Street, also known as Homes at 1820 Hermosa (MWS Project No. 24-SL-31 and Proposal No. 2024M-142ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 274 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 274 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and three sanitary sewer manholes, for two properties located at 1820 B Hermosa Street and 1809 Morena Street, also known as Homes at 1820 Hermosa, are needed to construct project number 24-SL-31; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-142ES-001 on December 12, 2024 for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 274 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and one sanitary sewer manhole and to accept approximately 274 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and three sanitary sewer manholes, for two properties located at 1820 B Hermosa Street and 1809 Morena Street, also known as Homes at 1820 Hermosa, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
