WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 260 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (DIP) and easement, and the acceptance of approximately 283 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP) and easement, for property located at 4230 Century Farms Terrace, are needed to construct project number 24-WL-14; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-083ES-001 on July 12, 2024, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 260 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (DIP) and easement, and to accept approximately 283 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP) and easement, for property located at 4230 Century Farms Terrace, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
