A resolution congratulating the Davidson County Register of Deeds Office for being recognized as one of Nashville Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in 2024.

WHEREAS, the Davidson County Register of Deeds Office has a mission to provide accurate recording of public records for all who use the Register's Office and a goal of providing excellent customer service and convenient access to these records utilizing the latest technology in an effective, cost efficient, and customer friendly manner; and

 

WHEREAS, this year, the Nashville Business Journal has named the Davidson County Register of Deeds Office as one of the Best Places to Work; and

 

WHEREAS, this is the second time the Davidson County Register of Deeds Office has received this honor in the past five years; and

 

WHEREAS, this recognition is given to local employers based on nominations and a confidential survey of their employees; and

 

WHEREAS, the employee survey measures 10 key engagement categories, including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders and manager effectiveness; and

 

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper for the Metropolitan Council to acknowledge the success of Register of Deeds Karen Y. Johnson and her staff on this recognition.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

 

Section 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as congratulating the Davidson County Register of Deeds Office for being recognized as one of Nashville Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in 2024. The Metropolitan Council further goes on record as acknowledging the success of Register of Deeds Karen Y. Johnson and her staff in receiving this recognition for the second time in the past five years.

 

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
