WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws § 5.04.120, the Metropolitan Council can approve donations, exclusive of donations of real estate, by resolution; and,
WHEREAS, Rochelle Apartments, LP owns and plans to develop a parcel of property (the “Property”) at 1021 South Street in Nashville; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of the 12th Avenue South Complete and Green Streets Project is necessary, in part, due to development of the Property; and,
WHEREAS, as provided in the letter attached as Exhibit 1, Rochelle Apartments, LP proposes to donate $145,000 to the Metropolitan Government as a contribution towards the construction costs for the 12th Avenue South Complete and Green Streets Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. Rochelle Apartments, LP proposed donation of $145,000 as a contribution towards the cost of the Improvements, as proposed in Exhibit 1, is approved.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution accepts a donation from Rochelle Apartments, LP to the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure in the amount of $145,000. Rochelle Apartments, LP plans to develop a parcel of property at 1021 South Street. This donation will be used towards the cost of the study for roadway infrastructure improvements associated with the 12th Avenue South Complete and Green Streets Project.
The Council is authorized to approve donations by resolution pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws Section 5.04.120.B.
