WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 378 linear feet of existing 18-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), and the acceptance of approximately 378 linear feet of new 18-inch sanitary sewer main and one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 901 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, is needed to construct project number 23-SL-107; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-195ES-001 on December 12, 2023, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manhole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 378 linear feet of existing 18-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), and to accept approximately 378 linear feet of new 18-inch sanitary sewer main and one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 901 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
