WHEREAS, pursuant to RS2022-1423, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County previously entered into a grant agreement with various nonprofit organizations to provide therapeutic services to victims of interpersonal violence; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreements to extend the end date from December 31, 2023, to September 30, 2024 for the following grants: Nashville Children's Alliance, Sexual Assault Center, and AGAPE; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Family & Children's Services grant agreement to extend the end date from December 31, 2023 to June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to section B.I to the grant contracts between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Office of Family Safety, and Family and Children's Services, Nashville Children's Alliance, Sexual Assault Center, and AGAPE, a copy of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to the execute the same.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
