An ordinance authorizing the granting of an easement to Electric Power Board on a parcel or property owned by the Metropolitan Government.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns certain real property (Metro Parcel ID 10502017100; the “Property”); and,
WHEREAS, the Electric Power Board has requested an easement (the “Easement”) on the area designated in the easement for the purposes of a utility anchor; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Education has approved the granting of the Easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The granting of the described easement is hereby approved.
Section 2. The Director of Public Property Administration is authorized to execute and record the Easements and other such documents as may be necessary to carry out the objective of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance approves an agreement between the Metropolitan Board of Public Education and the Electric Power Board that grants a utility easement to the Electric Power Board on property owned by the Metropolitan Government at Rose Park Middle School at 1025 9th Avenue South. The Electric Power Board will use the easement for the purposes of a utility anchor.
The Metropolitan Board of Public Education has approved the grant of this easement.
