A resolution approving Amendment Number 1 to a sole source contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Fusus, Inc. to increase the value of the contract and extend the term of the contract.

WHEREAS, Metro previously entered into a sole source contract, contract number 6518701, with Fusus, Inc., for community safety video integration services, the value of which was less than $250,000; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the contract to increase the value beyond $250,000, for a total contract value of $350,000; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the contract to extend the term to 24 months; and,
WHEREAS, Section 4.12.060(C) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws requires Council approval by resolution of sole source contracts "with a total contract amount in excess of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00)"; and,
WHEREAS, approval of the Contract will benefit the citizens of Davidson County.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Amendment Number 1 to a sole source contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Fusus, Inc. (contract number 6518701), to increase the value and term of the contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
