WHEREAS, Resolution RS2023-1948 appropriated $75,0000 in American Rescue Plan Act ("ARP") funds from Fund #30216 to the Nashville Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster Coalition ("VOAD"); and,
WHEREAS, Resolution RS2023-2147 approved an amendment to reflect VOAD's fiscal sponsor as the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, but inadvertently removed referenced to Exhibit A, Nashville VOAD ARP Grant Narrative; and,
WHEREAS, the resolution needs to be amended to reincorporate Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this amendment be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Resolution RS2023-1948 is hereby amended by deleting it in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
"That $75,000 from the COVID-19 American Rescue Plan Fund #30216 is hereby appropriated to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee as the fiscal sponsor of the Nashville Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster Coalition, to be used to administer the program described in Exhibit A, attached hereto."
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the public requiring it.

This resolution amends Resolution No. RS2023-1948, which appropriated $75,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds from Fund #30216 to the Nashville Voluntary Organization Active Disasters ("VOAD") coalition for a pilot program to engage the community in emergency preparedness through June 30, 2024.
RS2023-1948 was previously amended by RS2023-2147 to clarify that the funds will be appropriated to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee as the fiscal sponsor of VOAD.
