NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That Section 15.64.015 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 2. That Section 15.64.032(C)(3) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.                     

SECTION 3. That Section 15.64.032(E)(1) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 4. That Section 15.64.032(E)(2) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 5. That Section 15.64.032(E)(3) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 6. That Section 15.64.032(H) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 7.  That the title of Section 15.64.040 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting Stormwater Management Committee and inserted in lieu thereof Stormwater Management Commission.

SECTION 8. That Section 15.64.040(A) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 9. That the title of Section 15.64.050 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting Stormwater Management Committee and inserted in lieu thereof Stormwater Management Commission.

SECTION 10. That Section 15.64.050 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 13. That the title of Section 15.64.080 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting Stormwater Management Committee and inserted in lieu thereof Stormwater Management Commission.

SECTION 14. That Section 15.64.080 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 15. That the title of Section 15.64.090 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting Stormwater Management Committee and inserted in lieu thereof Stormwater Management Commission.

SECTION 16. That Section 15.64.090 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 17. That Section 15.64.100(A)(1) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 18. That Section 15.64.100(A)(2) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 19. That Section 15.64.105(A) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 20. That Section 15.64.105(B) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 21. That Section 15.64.105(B)(2) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 22. That Section 15.64.105(B)(4) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 23. That Section 15.64.170(B)(g) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 24.                     That Section 15.64.215 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 25. That Section 17.28.040(A) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting stormwater management committee and inserted in lieu thereof stormwater management commission.

SECTION 26. That the title of Section 17.36.220 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting Stormwater Management Committee and inserted in lieu thereof Stormwater Management Commission.

SECTION 27. That Section 17.36.220 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting Stormwater Management Committee and inserted in lieu thereof Stormwater Management Commission.

SECTION 28.  Amendments to this ordinance may be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council. 

SECTION 29.                     This ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2023, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance amends Chapters 15 and 17 the Metropolitan Code to rename the “Stormwater Management Committee” to the “Stormwater Management Commission”. No changes are proposed to the Commission’s authority.

The Planning Commission recommended approval of this ordinance at their June 22, 2023 meeting.
