An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer force mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on East Hill Drive and Twin Hills Drive, also known as Riverview at Cumberland Hills (MWS Project No. 17-SL-246 and Proposal No. 2023M-046ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,088 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 424 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 765 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), approximately 201 linear feet of new 1.5-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), 15 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on East Hill Drive and Twin Hills Drive, also known as Riverview at Cumberland Hills, is needed to construct project number 17-SL-246; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-046ES-001 on March 20, 2023, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer force mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,088 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 424 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 765 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), approximately 201 linear feet of new 1.5-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), 15 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located at East Hill Drive and Twin Hills Drive, also known as Riverview at Cumberland Hills, as shown on Exhibit 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Fiscal Note: This ordinance has no cost to Metro. Donated easements have no market value according to the Department of Water Services.
