An ordinance approving an agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and Airbus Helicopters, Inc. for the lease of a MNPD helicopter to be used at the HAI Heli-Expo 2023 show.

WHEREAS, Airbus Helicopters, Inc. desires to lease one MNPD Airbus Helicopter for an approximately five-day period, beginning on or about March 3, 2023, to be used for ferry and static display purposes at the HAI Heli-Expo 2023 show being held in Atlanta, Georgia.; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this lease be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and Airbus Helicopters, Inc. for the lease of a MNPD helicopter to be used at the HAI Heli-Expo 2023 show, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance approves an agreement between the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department ("MNPD") and Airbus Helicopters, Inc. ("Airbus") for the lease of an MNPD helicopter to be used at the HAI Heli-Expo 2023 show.

Airbus desires to lease one MNPD Airbus Helicopter for an approximately five-day period, beginning on or about March 3, 2023, to be used for ferry and static display purposes at the HAI Heli-Expo 2023 show being held in Atlanta, Georgia.
