An ordinance authorizing the granting of temporary construction easements to Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc. on certain property owned by the Metropolitan Government located at 0 Brick Church Pike (Parcel No. 07110001800) and 1354 Brick Church Pike (Parcel No. 07106005300) (Proposal No. 2023M-011ES-001).

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns a property located at 0 Brick Church Pike (Parcel No. 07110001800) and 1354 Brick Church Pike (Parcel No. 07106005300), which is shown on the attached Exhibit A and the attached Exhibit B; and,
WHEREAS, Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc. has requested temporary construction easements as shown on Exhibit A, 0 Brick Church Pike, and as shown on Exhibit B, 1354 Brick Church Pike, across said property for the purposes of performing construction activities and laying, storing, erecting, parking, and/or protecting any equipment, vehicles, materials, fill, components, parts, and tools associated with the construction of Piedmont's pipelines and appurtenant facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc. has agreed, as Grantee, to pay fair market value as compensation for said easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The granting of the following temporary construction easements to Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc. across said property for the purposes of performing construction activities (as shown in attached Exhibit A and Exhibit B) is hereby approved.
