A resolution expressing the Council’s intent for the parcels included in Ordinance No. BL2022-1532, which extended the boundaries of the Urban Services District, be included on the tax rolls for 2022.

WHEREAS, on December 6, 2022, the Metropolitan Council enacted Ordinance No. BL2022-1532, which extended the boundaries of the Urban Services District (USD) within the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to include certain properties located in Council District 13 and approved the Plan of Services for this extension; and
WHEREAS, language in the enacting clause of this ordinance stated that the ordinance takes effect 30 days after its final passage; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council’s intent is for the parcels included in BL2022-1532 be included on the tax rolls for 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as expressing its intent that the parcels included in Ordinance No. BL2022-1532, which extended the boundaries of the Urban Services District, be included on the tax rolls for 2022.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
