An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, fire hydrant assembly and easements, and to accept new public water main, fire hydrant assembly and easements, for property located at 5655 Frist Boulevard, also known as Tristar Summit Medical Center-South Bed Tower (MWS Project No. 22-WL-70 and Proposal No. 2022M-184ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 80 linear feet of existing eight inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 12 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and easements, for property located at 5655 Frist Boulevard, also known as Tristar Summit Medical Center - South Bed Tower, are needed to construct project number 22-WL-70; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-184ES-001 on November 30, 2022, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 80 linear feet of existing eight inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and easements, and to accept approximately 12 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and easements, for property located at 5655 Frist Boulevard, also known as Tristar Summit Medical Center - South Bed Tower, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
