An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 600 and 606 Ewing Drive (MWS Project Nos. 21-WL-98 and 21-SL-231; and Proposal No. 2022M-171ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,545 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 27 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 618 linear feet of new four inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,953 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three fire hydrant assemblies, 13 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 600 and 606 Ewing Drive, is needed to construct project numbers 21-WL-98 and 21-SL-231; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-171ES-001 on November 30, 2022, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,545 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 27 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 618 linear feet of new four inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,953 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three fire hydrant assemblies, 13 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at 600 and 606 Ewing Drive, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
