A resolution approving the First Amendment to an agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and ZOLL Medical Corporation to provide cardiac monitors, automated external defibrillators, accessories, and the performance of preventative maintenance and repairs for the Nashville Fire Department.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County ("Metro"), acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, previously entered into Contract 449466 with ZOLL Medical Corporation, approved by Resolution RS2019-28, for the provision of cardiac monitors, automated external defibrillators, accessories, and the performance of preventative maintenance and repairs for the Nashville Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend Section 1.1 of Contract Number 449466 to update the pricing and add an additional exhibit, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the amendment to the contract be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1: That this First Amendment to the Contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and ZOLL Medical Corporation attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
