WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority is the owner of real property commonly known as the John C. Tune Airport (hereinafter the “Airport”); and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, wishes to use the Airport for the storage of aircraft, aeronautical equipment, and other related materials; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the Agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON CONTY:
Section 1. That the Agreement by and between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution approves an agreement between the Metropolitan Government and the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) for the use of the John C. Tune Airport for the storage of aircraft, aeronautical equipment, and other related materials for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD).
Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, MNAA authorizes Metro to use space for the storage of certain aircraft and other aeronautical equipment at the John C. Tune Airport. A list of prohibited items, prohibited uses, and permitted uses is attached to the agreement as Exhibit A. The agreement terminates on June 30, 2025. The agreement can be terminated by either party upon 60 days written notice.
Fiscal Note: Metro would pay a security deposit in the amount of $1,050 and a monthly fee in the amount of $2,863.64 to Metro Nashville Airport Authority for storage of aircraft, aeronautical equipment, and other related materials for Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The monthly fee will be reviewed on an annual basis and adjusted annually based on operating expenditures and the most recently published Consumer Price Increase for all Urban Consumers.
