An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer main and easement, and to accept new sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for property located at 7131 Centennial Boulevard, (MWS Project No. 21-SL-212 and Proposal No. 2022M-063ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 153 linear feet of existing 12 inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and easement, and the acceptance of approximately 153 linear feet of new 12 inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for property located at 7131 Centennial Boulevard, are needed to construct project number 21-SL-212; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-063ES-001 on April 11, 2022, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 153 linear feet of existing 12 inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and easement, and to accept approximately 153 linear feet of new 12 inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for property located at 7131 Centennial Boulevard as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
