WHEREAS, the abandonment and removal of approximately 389 linear feet of existing six inch water main, and the acceptance of approximately 408 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP) and one fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 804 14th Avenue North, are needed to construct project number 21-WL-21; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-010ES-001 on January 10, 2022, for the abandonment, removal and acceptance of said water mains and fire hydrant assembly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon and remove approximately 389 linear feet of existing six inch water main, and to accept approximately 408 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP) and one fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 804 14th Avenue North, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment, removal, and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
