WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council desires to appropriate funds in the amount of four million dollars ($4,000,000.00) from the General Services Office of Fleet Management undesignated fund balance for the benefit of General Services and various departments of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to purchase public safety vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1: That the following amount from the Undesignated Fund Balance of the General Services Office of Fleet Management is hereby appropriated:
