WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council passed Resolution No. RS2021-1070, pursuant to which the Metropolitan Government appropriated a total of $1,273,580 from the Nashville Public Library to various non-profit organizations for the provision of free and high-quality afterschool programs through the Library's Nashville After Zone Alliance ("NAZA") program; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. RS2021-1070 authorized the Metropolitan Government to enter into grant contracts with certain non-profit organizations; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, by and through the Nashville Public Library, and DYMON in the Rough, Inc. are parties to a grant contract (L-4795), as authorized by Resolution No. RS2021-1070, pursuant to which the Metropolitan Government agreed to make a grant of $83,160 to DYMON in the Rough, Inc. for the provision of free and high-quality afterschool programs through NAZA; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to increase the amount of the grant by $24,500 to support transportation costs to help improve the access and safety of children and youth in afterschool programs for a new grant total of $107,660, a copy of which grant contract amendment is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, by and through the Nashville Public Library, and Nations Ministry Center are parties to a grant contract (L-4804), as authorized by Resolution No. RS2021-1070, pursuant to which the Metropolitan Government agreed to make a grant $92,400 to Nations Ministry Center for the provision of free and high-qu...
