An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and to accept new sanitary sewer and water mains, sanitary sewer manholes, fire hydrant assembly and easements, for three properties located at 1104 and 1106 Baptist World Center Drive and 1407 Napoleon Street (MWS Project Nos. 20-SL-316 and 20-WL-162 and Proposal No. 2021M-075ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 222 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 450 linear feet of new 10 inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 312 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), five sanitary sewer manholes, one fire hydrant assembly and easements, for three properties located at 1104 and 1106 Baptist World Center Drive and 1407 Napoleon Street, are needed to construct project numbers 20-SL-316 and 20-WL-162; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2021M-075ES-001 on September 13, 2021, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer and water mains, sanitary sewer manholes, fire hydrant assembly and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 222 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and to accept approximately 450 linear feet of new 10 inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 312 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), five sanitary sewer manholes, one fire hydrant assembly and easements, for three properties located at 1104 and 1106 Baptist World Center Drive and 1407 Napoleon Street, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference....
