An ordinance approving the Third Amendment to an agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and HDR Engineering, Inc.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (“Metro”), previously entered into Contract Number 422498 with HDR Engineering, Inc.  for the provision of sidewalk design services on Lebanon Pike; and,

WHEREAS, the parties desire to extend the term listed in Section 3.1 of Contract Number 422498 to end at project completion, a copy of which amendment is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this Third Amendment to the contract be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     That the Third Amendment to Contract Number 422498 between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and HDR Engineering, Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2.                     This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance approves the third amendment to an agreement between the Metropolitan Government and HDR Engineering, Inc. for the provision of sidewalk design services on Lebanon Pike. The contract term was originally sixty months. The amendment extends the contract to end at project completion. No other changes would be made to the contract.
