WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Greater Nashville Regional Council approved by RS2018-1300; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to increase the amount of the grant for FY 2022 by $80,000.00 from $240,000.00 for a new total of $320,000.00 with no cash match required, a copy of which amendment three is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment three to this grant be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment three to the grant by and between the Greater Nashville Regional Council and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission, to provide Nutrition HCBS (Home and Community Based Services) to eligible seniors throughout Davidson County; a copy of which amendment three is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
