WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 159 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately four linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 143 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole, one fire hydrant assembly and easements, for property located at 1011 Lady Nashville Drive, also known as Heritage Hills Apartments, is needed to construct project number 21-SL-80 and 21-WL-34; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2021M-041ES-001 on May 12, 2021, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer and water mains, sanitary sewer manhole, fire hydrant assembly and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 159 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately four linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 143 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole, one fire hydrant assembly and easements, for property located at 1011 Lady Nashville Drive, also known as Heritage Hills Apartments, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3.                     Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4.                     This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Future amendments to this ordinance may be approved by resolution.

 

This ordinance has been approved by the Planning Commission.

 

Fiscal Note: There is no cost to Metro. Abandoned and donated easements have no market value according to the Department of Water Services.
