A resolution accepting a donation in the amount of $100,000 as a contribution to stormwater infrastructure improvements in the vicinity of 921 Robinson Road in Old Hickory.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws § 5.04.120, the Metropolitan Council can accept donations, exclusive of donations of real estate, by resolution; and

WHEREAS, as reflected in the letter attached as Exhibit 1, the developer of a residential project in the vicinity of 921 Robinson Road in Old Hickory proposes to donate $100,000 towards stormwater infrastructure improvements to be made by the Department of Water and Sewerage Services; and

WHEREAS, acceptance of the donation is in the best interests of the Metropolitan Government.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The donation of $100,000, to be used for stormwater infrastructure improvements in the vicinity of 921 Robinson Road in Old Hickory, as proposed in Exhibit 1, is approved.

Section 2.  This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
