A resolution accepting a donation of 3,000 one-gallon Soft Foam Hand Sanitizers from Steel Gorillas to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Office of Emergency Management, for the use and benefit of Metropolitan Government departments.

WHEREAS, Steel Gorillas wishes to donate 3,000 one-gallon Soft Foam Hand Sanitizers, valued at $54,930.00, to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, for the use and benefit of Metropolitan Government departments; and,
WHEREAS, a copy of the donation documentation is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws ? 5.04.120(B), donations exceeding $5,000 may be accepted and appropriated pursuant to Resolution; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the donation from Steel Gorillas of 3,000 one-gallon Soft Foam Hand Sanitizers, valued at $54,930.00, to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, for the use and benefit of Metropolitan Government departments, pursuant to the donation documentation attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Office of Emergency Management is hereby authorized to accept this donation and distribute the hand sanitizers to Metropolitan Government departments.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
