WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,247 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 242 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,032 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three fire hydrant assemblies, seven sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at Old Hickory Boulevard at Legacy Drive, also known as Old Hickory Crossing Phase 2, is needed to construct project numbers 20-WL-106 and 20-SL-212; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M-080ES-001 on September 25, 2020, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,247 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 242 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,032 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three fire hydrant assemblies, seven sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for properties located at Old Hickory Boulevard at Legacy Drive, also known as Old Hickory Crossing Phase 2, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3.                     Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4.                     This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
